What does it mean to create art shaped by movement across borders, languages, and identities?

The Immigrant Voices Salon brings together five immigrant artists who will share work rooted in their lived experiences. Through storytelling, live music, singing, spoken word and dance - each artist explores how migration has shaped their creative voice - and how memory, place, language and family continue to live in their art.

From the sounds of childhood streets to the discovery of a new culture, from displacement to reinvention - this salon centers on the intimate ways in which geography, culture, and identity inform artistic creation.

Each artist will present a short piece, offering the audience a rare and personal window into the intersection of immigration and creativity.
