Aldo Allgoode
Cynthia Giannini is an award-winning dancer, choreographer, and producer based in Denver, Colorado. A former professional ballet dancer whose life was transformed by Argentine tango, she is the founder of Intimo Tango and Artists Amongst Us, organizations dedicated to connection, artistry, and human-centered experiences. Cynthia is known for creating welcoming spaces where beginners and seasoned dancers alike can explore movement through presence, musicality, and authentic connection. Her work blends technical excellence with emotional depth, inviting people to slow down, listen, and rediscover the joy of dancing together.

Isaac Daniel Allen

Adrienne Asteria
A Colorado-based director, actor, and educator dedicated to fostering authentic, socially engaged performance. With a background in devised theatre and movement work, Adrianna brings a grounded, actor-centered approach to the production - helping translate the emotional and political layers of Two States One Couch into a visceral and cohesive stage language.

Kwami Barnette
​Kwami Barnett is a professional clarinetist, music educator, and conductor based in
Greeley, Colorado. He holds prominent positions, including Professor of Clarinet
Studies at Colorado Christian University, Principal Clarinet of the Denver Philharmonic
Orchestra and Municipal Band, and Associate Director of Bands at University School in
Greeley. Additionally, he leads the orchestra at Faith Church in Fort Collins and
maintains an active clarinet studio throughout northern Colorado. Barnett’s career has
taken him across the eastern United States, where he has performed with various
orchestras and wind bands, including his service as a clarinetist in the United States
Army at Fort Lee, VA.Barnett holds a B.A. in Music Performance with an education
emphasis from Lee University, an M.M. degree from the University of North Carolina at
Greensboro, and currently ABD in music performance and wind conducting at the
University of Northern Colorado.

Dominic Bridge
Since beginning his Argentine Tango journey in 2005 in the Pacific Northwest, Dominic Bridge has emerged as one of North America’s most respected tango artists, sharing his passion for the dance across more than 30 countries on five continents. Now based in Denver, Colorado, his artistry is shaped by years living and teaching in cities such as Paris, Berlin, Florence, and Moscow, as well as by his work helping cultivate tango communities worldwide. Dominic's approach weaves technical mastery with creativity, musicality, and a deep respect for tango as a social art and language of human connection. Beyond performing and teaching, Dominic is the exclusive distributor of Mono My Tango Shoes, always guided by a commitment to artistry, integrity, and the transformative power of the embrace.

Claudio Cortes
Claudio Cortes is a multifaceted artist - educator, tango dancer, singer, and actor - whose expressive presence has become an integral part of the Intimo Tango creative family. An Associate Professor of Medicine, he brings a rare synthesis of intellect, artistry, and emotional depth to his work. A national ATUSA finalist in Tango Pista, Vals, and Milonga, he performed in the most recent concept version of Sol y Luna at the Ellie Caulkins Studio Loft, where his dancing, voice, and stage presence added resonance and soul to the production.

Penina Eisenberg
​Penina Eisenberg (Mel) is an actor/musician currently based in Colorado. She is so honored to be part of Colorado Boy! Regional credits: Cabaret (TheatreWorks) We’re Still Here (Empathy Theatre Project), Enemy of the People (Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company), Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (Arvada Center), Into The Woods (Ovation West Performing Arts), Rent (Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center).

Melody Flores
Melody Flores fell headfirst into tango in New York City 14 years ago and has been obsessed ever since - performing, traveling to Argentina, and saying yes to just one more tanda (every time). She manages tango festivals across the U.S., blending artistry with logistics. Tango is her love language, her playground, and occasionally her cardio.

Sarah Genung
A tango dancer who has been dancing in some capacity since she could walk.
From growing up with ballet on stage to belly dancing in restaurants and capoeira
in the streets, dance has always been an essential part of her life, with tango
closest to her heart. She is ignited by the magic of improvisation and connection
in the milonga as much as by telling a story thr ough performance. In addition to her love of social dancing, Sarah has performed in tango stage shows every year since 2018, placed second in the 2025 Southern California
Tango Championships Jack & Jill category, and has been a finalist multiple times
in the social categories of the two largest tango competitions in the United
States.

Facundo is a tango DJ, dancer, performer, choreographer, and teacher whose work is shaped by both rigorous training and artistic intelligence. Educated at the National University of Arts in Buenos Aires, he studied tango technique, pedagogy, and stage performance, developing a practice that moves fluidly between social dance and theatrical expression. His teaching challenges dancers to slow down, listen, and confront the details that reveal the soul of the dance - cultivating precision, presence, and personal authorship. As a collaborator, he has assisted in direction and choreography for “Sol y Luna”, dance, tango, and acting productions, and as a performer has appeared in tango ballets and stage works, where his dancing is marked by musical depth, quiet intensity, and an unmistakable sense of purpose.

Emy McGuire
Emy McGuire is an aspiring siren, sailor, and sword-enthusiast whose passion in life is to experience and tell stories. She has written eight novels, sailed across the Atlantic ocean, and has the world premiere of two of her plays in summer 2025. Emy was raised in the foothills of Colorado, but she has spent time all over the world, including on the road performing Edgar Allan Poe from San Francisco to Salem, on a ship sailing from Rome to Antigua, and Sarasota, Florida where she received her bachelor’s in Theatre, Dance, Performance Studies/Creative Writing from the New College of Florida.

Jihad Milhem
A Palestinian-American actor, playwright, and educator whose work centers on identity, resistance, and belonging. With performances spanning stage and screen, Jihad brings depth, humor, and vulnerability to his portrayal of “Israel” in "Two States One Couch", challenging audiences to confront power, empathy, and the personal cost of politics.

Noa Shapira
An Israeli multidisciplinary performing artist and play writer, a human rights practitioner, and storyteller whose work bridges art and activism. As Director of Artists Amongst Us, Noa creates performances that transform social and political dialogue into intimate theatrical experiences. Her recent works, including Sol y Luna and Shadows of Hope, explore themes of immigration, identity, and healing through movement and narrative. Noa will be presenting two original works on the Winter Gala: "Two States One Couch", a bold theatrtical production that presents a new perspective on the Israeli Palestinian Conflict, and "Themis the Goddess of Justice", a new musical that aspiries to be a modern day feminist manifesto.

Ira Sherman
Ira Sherman is an extraordinary artist and metalsmith. He is a master jeweler, internationally recognized sculptor, designer, intuitive engineer and more - a modern metal wizard. Sherman will be producing his own show this year with Artists Amongst Us, "SPECIATIONS: Creatures of Self-Protection":
a striking live vignette where a woman undergoes an on-stage transformation into an empowered, otherworldly creature. Through choreography, costume-engineering, and projected visuals, this intimate piece reveals the beauty of becoming something new.

Skeleton Kii
​Kii is a performer, clown, teacher, creator, explorer, mover, shaker, and lover of all things uniquely unusual. They have been seen performing all over Denver in places such as Chaos Bloom Theater, Rise Comedy, The Creepatorium, The Skylark Lounge and many other places their wonder gets called to.

Ronan Viard
A French theatre artist and filmmaker known for blending classical form with contemporary experimentation. His work, rooted in movement and metaphor, aims to reveal the emotional truths behind social narratives. As a long-time collaborator with Artists Amongst Us, Ronan brings visual precision and cinematic rhythm to the stage. Ronan is going to be presenting his own production, Colorado Boy, as part if our sprinng program. He is also supporting our original productions: "Two States One Couch" as both an actor and director, and the director of "Themis the Goddess of Justice".
